This guitar is a solid spruce topped mini-jumbo guitar that Washburn made for a short time. It was designed to be a fingerstyle guitar. It has "aged rosewood" back and sides that I find to be very beautiful. I assume that they are not solid since they don't claim to be solid, but the grain on the inside of the back looks very much like the grain on the outside. It is glossy finished, and I just find it to be amazing.

I bought this via auction in June 2004 after having researched guitars and deciding that I should try to scrape together $350 to buy one. I got it for a lot less and have played this guitar more than any other. It has started to age very nicely, it seems to me and I find it easier and easier to play. I like the sound and I like everything about it, just the laminated back and sides make me think I need to have a better guitar.

I almost made a big mistake and sold it. Someone contacted me based on this web site and we were talking about prices. We had pretty much settled on $250 when I decided I was going to have to tell him "no" when he contacted me and said he had found one somewhere else. I was glad because I had decided to keep it.

If you want to buy it, make me an offer, but it will have to be over $250.
